About

My name is Kelly Hunter I am an Australian nutritionist, blogger, and the founder of Daily KIN.

Growing up in the little beach town of Byron Bay, I have always had a close relationship with health & nature and from that has stemmed a passion for natural health and clean living. I have been surrounded by holistic health my entire life; it was no wonder I was drawn to this industry with such enthusiasm.

I am a passionate Nutritionist in the field of holistic health, I believe food is medicine, and I am a strong advocate in good quality food sources. I follow a low tox lifestyle and understand the importance of balance when it comes to one’s overall health.

I want to share health and lifestyle content for the community who are at any stage of their health path. I place confidence in an individual knowing the basics of health, and that one can start to make the small changes which will promote longevity in your overall wellbeing.

I invite you to be the change you want for yourself and your (kinsfolk) community.

Our approach

We are a health blog where readers can find health and lifestyle content based on the research of functional medicine with a focus on integrated, natural health. Our aim is to cultivate a community where we can offer insight into alternative health choices and provide education for individuals on their own personalised wellness journey.

At KIN, we believe food is medicine and is the fundamental backbone of nutrition, this should be the 1st step to prevention of disease and or treating health issues in the body.

We understand life is busy, and staying on top of your nutrition can be tricky sometimes, so we have taken this into account by creating a simple 1 stop guide by putting together a collection of our favourite resources and tips.

A healthy lifestyle is not a band aid solution of masking illness or disease with medications, instead it is a carefully curated blend of many factors including: nutrition, sleep, exercise, nature, reducing stress and pollutants, and off course love. The combination of all of these will bring balance to an individual, which will hopefully lead to a life of longevity.

Health should be simple, it should be accessible for everyone, and you should not need a PHD to understand it. However, we do know that everyone’s health is different, and we all need different things from time to time and this is where it can get confusing.

Along with the many different modality’s and diets available these days, at the end of the day, whether it is the start of a healthy lifestyle journey for you or to the extremes of treating underlying health conditions we will break down some of the confusion for you, in the easiest possible ways so you can make your own choices in what direction you want your health to go in.

We are here to bringing ease to individuals who want to live a more consciousness lifestyle along with helping families introduce change into their home.

KIN’s Philosophy: Wholesome Wellness

To develop a collective platform which is aimed for your wellness. Our philosophy embraces the connection between health and nature, we believe in taking care of you and your loved ones by following a holistic approach in guiding you to improve your overall wellbeing practices through diet and by following a low tox lifestyle.
